COUNSELLING
YES has a number of trained counsellors who are available to see people for one-off counselling or a series of sessions.
You will be given the choice of a male or female counsellor and counsellors can see people by appointment during opening hours and also at some other times.
What is counselling ?
Sometimes it's difficult to find the right time and place and the right person to talk to. Counselling provides a place where you will be listened to and taken seriously, you will not be judged, but be respected and encouraged.
It does not provide magic answers or even being given advice and does not involve lying on a couch!
Counselling can help you understand your feelings and help you think more clearly. You can use counselling to help you make decisions and to make changes in your life.
YES it's confidential !
YES takes it's confidentiality policy very seriously. We will not talk to anyone about your enquiry or problem. No information you give us is discussed with anyone outside the organisation in fact no-one but YES staff will even know you contacted us.

Just drop in or telephone saying when you would like to see a counsellor and the staff at YES will do their best to book you an appointment with an available counsellor.
